Hey, look what I have done!

- The motion sensor light outside has not worked for months. First it would
sometimes (I think rainy days) not shut off for days. Then, it stopped going
on. I put the switch off for a while and put it back on and the light did not
go on like it should. I thought I heard something in the wall where the wires
were. I was scared for months. :-o

Then, just last week I had a brainstorm. I brought the motion detector (first
time we had one where the motion detector was not connected to the light) inside
and put in new batteries. It works wonderfully now. :-) I was waiting for my
dad to come down and find the problem in the wiring... not needed by him or an
electrician for $$$. :-)

- The left slider in my car didn't 'stick' open. It would slide back on the
kids. I brought it to my mechanic and they thought it was all the junk in the
track *blush*. They cleaned it up, saw it work on whatever slope they had it on
and thought it was fixed. It wasn't. Months later the door started sticking
again (problem with Odysseys) and I went to the dealer to see where I should
spray lubricant. While I was at it, I sprayed to roller on the door, and the
locking mechanism.. ALOT because you can't see it, you just have to spray behind
and hope....

well.... now the door stays open!!!!!! Yeah me!!! Dealer had said most door
repairs are 300-700 as they have to take the door off and stuff. Yeah me!!!

- oh... and a month ago I fixed my remote control for the garage door opener.
It had been getting very tempermental. Sometimes it would work, and sometimes
it wouldn't . You had to hold it at just the right angle.

The fix? A trip to Radio Shack looking for a new battery. Why, what do you
know? :-)
