My Mom is on the way down here, I am soooo thrilled! It is a pretty busy week with 2 end of session Karate shows and Rebekah's school play. Rebekah is a hyenna, and get this... I made a costume! OK, I sewed ears and put them on the hood of a sweatshirt... but I did it!

The show is on Thursday, I hope it goes well. Hmm... should we go out for icecream after like my mom always took us after our concerts? I would love to, but it might be too late, we will see.

Here was a great conversation with Bill after I told him how Rebekah, Matthew and I played Monopoly Jr. I just retried board games while Alyssa is asleep and it seemed to work. Anyway...

BTW: Ignore the incorrect political definitions...

Me: Luckly you only play till one person is out and that person happened to be me.
Bill: Well, you could have something to do with that.
M: Not in Monopoly Jr., as long as you don't cheat (R wouldn't let me get away with that!) the game is totally chance.
B: But you can land on something and decide not to buy it
M: In Monopoly Jr. you need to buy everything you land on.
B: WHAT?
M: you need to buy everything that you land on.

B: That is communist! That is communist it is not free market economy!

That man is so weird. Getting his pants all in a funny knot over this...LOL

Lately Alyssa has been sleeping with whatever the last book was that we read her. She doesn't look too comfortable, but she cuddles up to her book. But... tonight is even better. Alyssa insisted on going to sleep with the cash register! It is red and about 8 inches high, 18 inches wide and 12 inches deep... hard plastic. Sounds comfortable, doesn't it?

I just told Bill how he could make my life perfect. Organize the basement so that I could be on the computer and see the TV at the same time! LOL OK, well, maybe a fortune and maids and holidays and some other things might help too. Writing this while trying to watch Trading Spaces just is not working! I am just so ridiculously thrilled that they have new shows. Rebekah often asks me which room I would have Trading Spaces redecorate. There are so many here that need help, I wouldn't know which to pick.

They weather this week was supposed to have possible rain every day from Friday through at least Tuesday. I didn't know if I should be upset or happy for Jennifer who desperately wants it to rain. The only thing we had to not do this weekend was fertilize the grass. Bill was so heart-broken, he was really looking forward to it, NOT. I hope it is kind of warm tomorrow if it rains. I forgot that I was going to let the kids go out with umbrellas today, the love that. Oh well, they will have many chances of that in the spring.

Matthew has a party to go to tomorrow (today, I guess) at the same place he had his birthday party. I hope he enjoys it. He loved his party, but it took me a good 15 minutes to get him used to the 7ft plastic dinosaur they have docorating the place. Luckly, he had little plastic dinos and I kept telling him how the big one was just like his little ones... just plastic. Hopefully he will remember and enjoy the animals right away. These place is GREAT. The only problem at Matthew's party was the guy giving the talk stunk of alcohol at 11:00 in the morning. He didn't act drunk, you only knew if you talked to him close... blech.

On Monday, Matthew's school is going to the Matzah factory. It really is a nice trip. They go to this room where these religious folks (Chabad-Lubavitch) teach kids about how matzah is made and the kids get to make their own. They combine flour and water, squish it around, roll it out and stab it with roller things. The people who run it put it in a big over that the kids can see. This stuff is not kosher for passover, so the kids get to eat it on the way home. fun fun fun. Rebekah made some last week in Sunday school - hands on is great! Bill is going to be school dad for the trip, while I will take Alyssa to see the AP at Rebekah's school. I want to discuss nest year's scheduling for Rebekah... I am nervous. Doesn't that seem like a real adult thing to do? I hope it goes well!

OMG!!! Bill just asked if I had a dollar for Rebekah's tooth pillow, I had forgotten! What a horrible mom time that would have been, huh? Rebekah is already telling me she doesn't believe in the tooth fairy, but then she talks as if she does. She has two more loose teeth. I wonder if I am going to have to tell her to play along for her brother and sister by the time those fall out. She told me she is saving her tooth fairy money for college. LOL

Good night
