I am trying to decide whether to keep this blog open. Everything I am going to type seems either too personal to share, or to boring to bother, or too far after the fact to bother. Ugh.
The kids loved the snow these last few days. THere was no school on Friday. All together, with the two storms close together, there was about 15" of snow. Enough melted, or compacted after the first storm so that the kids could play in it then and today. Our tiny little hill in the backyard got several kids over sledding. Life was good. I shovelled the driveway after the first storm. I did pretty good, for me... and just needed a few advils once and was fine today.
Tomorrow Rebekah and Alyssa have a Karate tournament. Hopefully it will go well! Alyssa certainly wont win as she doesn't know the whole drill :-) and needs prompting. If she was a first child, I wouldn't have signed her up. I would just figure she would forget, or I could make an excuse. But, cause Rebekah will be in the tournament and Alyssa will have to watch, I figured I had to let her compete. It wouldn't be fair to make her sit and watch Rebekah but not let her play, right? Hey, it is only money...
