I have to do something about my Wednesdays...

2:35 leave with Alyssa to pick up Rebekah
3:00 get Rebekah and Zach (carpool)
3:25 drop Alyssa off with Ms. Jen at the J for Karate
3:30 drop Zach off at his house
3:35 go on line to pick up Matthew
4:00? park and into J to get Alyssa and try to set up Rebekah and Matthew to do homework.
4:15 Get Alyssa, try to keep her and Matthew away from Rebekah doing work.
5:15 Bring Rebekah into Karate
6:00 Get Rebekah from Karate, organize and head home
6:20 Get home 5 minutes before Bill and try to make dinner.

Oh, yes, while we are waiting for Karates, I need to give snacks and stuff... kids are starving in the afternnon.

Also, Matthew might want to take Karate and I might fit him in the Wed. 4:30 - 5:15 class. The class isn't perfect for him but it is the right time.

Did anyone notice I was in the car, continuously from 2:30- 4:00. Not exactly my idea of a fun time.

Thurs. and Fridays are also busy now, but that will be better when soccer ends. But, when soccer ends I have to consider adding OT or/and swimming. Maybe we just need more hours in a day?

Before today, we had 6 days in a row with no precipitation. :-) The last time that happened was October of 2002... there is something just NOT right about that! It is so weird, it didn't rain at all the summer of 2002 and we (and the whole east coast) was in a severe drought. Now it wont stop raining.

I am so excited, my brother, sister and Mom are coming over tonight and Matthew (bowling) and Alyssa (gymnastics) are having birthday parties this weekend. It should be a great weekend. Well, if I can get all prepped for it. :-)

I am trying to turn over a new leaf with my house. We got the whole 1st floor straightened last weekend, and so far it has stayed clean. :-) I have been feeling guilty for not teaching (by example) the kids any organization or cleanliness skills. We have started something new. I will remind them every night to clean the downstairs and what will happen if they don't ( that will be tough for me, believe it or not). I will not beg, threaten or get angry. After they go to bed, anything that is not put away is put in the garage, stored away, for a month. I didn't want to throw out, and a month sounds good. So far they have been quite excited about cleaning up every night... especially Matthew. I think if he had other parents he would be very neat.

Anyway, Wed. night was sooo funny. I told them that if they cleaned up downstairs within 5 minutes (there wasn't much) we would have enough time to watch Teen Titans. BOY, did they run! They finished down stairs in no time at all and the next thing I heard was Matthew "lets clean upstairs". Then the three of them were going upstairs and Rebekah was yelling "Fung Shei", "Fung Shei" . LOL so funny. They did do one room before I went up and got them. I said, GREAT, you can do another room tomorrow. Matthew actually did clean up his room this morning a bit. This might just work. :-)

On another note, I was just fired from my assistant coach job of Matthew's soccer team. I guess I missed a meeting that I needed to go to for the church to allow you to be a coach. There were three meetings, 2 were when I was in California and I forgot about 1 in the mad 1st week of school stuff. There was another meeting today, but nobody told me about it. Oh well, I don't really care, it was getting frustrated being involved but not being able to make any decisions. I didn't really agree with what the coach was doing but couldn't decided myself to do it any other way... The meetings were about how to recognize abuse and what to do about it. If they have the meeting again, I will go and help out, but until then, I will just watch.

Well, blogger supposedly has a spell checker now. This is goodness. I don't have the spelling gene. My daughter does. Lets just say that I don't know how to spell her 3rd grade challenge words. :-)

Well, it is time for me to complain for another year. I rejoined BJs today after not being a member for 4 months. Well, what do you know. The silly store has a Christmas aisle already! AURGH. At first I thought they just had the standard Christmas presents, but no, they also have lights, reindeers (sp?... spell check has nothing even close :-) ) and decorations. Blech. It is still the first 1/2 of September guys! I think selling Christmas stuff for over 1/4 of the year is a bit much!
