oh yeah, we have glasses strife in the house. Matthew says he wants new glasses, and he doesn't want them to 'magically' turn into sunglasses outside. Why? He says they are not cool. ?????

Rebekah wants to know when she can get contacts and wear makeup. WTF??????? One of the councellors at camp said she should get contacts?????

Geez. LOL If anyone is reading this who will be at the reunion (most already left) will you please mention to my kids that you like their glasses? :-)

Did I ever tell anyone that I hate packing? Oh boy, I get to pack for 4 people tomorrow. Oh Joy. Well, all the laundry is clean, I just need to put some of it away before I pack. What do I pack for Canada? All the children have worn shorts here for a month, but maybe we could use pants or a jacket up there? Maybe I will pack 1 of each... jeans maybe that would match anything.

The kids are excited to see Canadian money, I don't think they quite understand how long the drive is!

I am bringing Old Bay up there to give to everyone (hey, Diane, if you want your Old Bay you have to get there...). I would love to bring something else from the Baltimore area but the only thing I can think of is crab cakes. First of all, I don't eat them and don't like them. Second of all, they wont travel well. Bill is thinking of bringing some homebrew. I guess we will need to open one up tomorrow to see if it is still good! What else can I bring from Maryland???? I thought salt water taffey is from the eastern shore, but it is also from Lancaster where Jennifer is coming from and I don't even know where to buy it here. Bah Humbug. :-)

The hotel we will be in has two bedrooms, each with a double bed and no cots. We need to bring at least one mattress thingy for a kid. The question is, do we need two in case none of the kids can sleep together. You know... I think they are going to _touch_ each other when they are supposed to be sleeping. :-) Thank goodness for minivans.

I am getting EXCITED! good night.

well, long story short, I got locked out of my car. My car was in the garage, locked up nice and tight with my keys and pocketbook (extra keys) safely inside. UGH . I called the insurance company (lockssmith services) and they called the locksmith. Any guesses how long it took him to break into my car? not long at all. :-( It was weird though. He put a blood pressure cuff thing in the crack on top of the door and inflated it. It pushed out the door to give him some room to work with. Then he took his stick, stuck in through the crack and pressed the "open" button on the door. Ta Da!

The man says he doesn't even carry a JimLock (or whatever it was called) the thing where you slide it into the locking mechanism and jimmy the door open. He says he can do it this way, and that old way is too dangerous. If you do it on a door with an air bag, you can be over the thingy working on it,when the side airback explodes, and kills you... lovely, just lovely.

I should be getting ready to leave Friday morning on my very exciting reunion trip to Canada. So, what were Bill and I doing last night? I would love to say getting ready :-). Well, actually I did do 1 load of my shirts, but believe me, that isn't a dent an the laundry which needs to be done. Bill and I were up priming our kitchen cabinets. I LOVE that we are making progress on the cabinets, we don't have a lot of time this summer to do it. But, we were up till after 2:00am and I know we are going to be so exhausted Thursday night while trying to pack the car for Canada. Also, we are going to be sooo tired during the drive!

Oh well, maybe someone will magically come over and fix up my house and pack my car for me.

I feel good, I just had a 1.5 hour nap. Bill on the other hand, is exhausted!

This week is so busy. Today we are going to the pool after Rebekah's camp and Bill will meet us there for dinner. My friend and her son will also meet us. After that, home, kids in bed and finish priming the cabinets (not doors yet). Tomorrow Rebekah has a soccer tryout thing for her fall league from 6-8 that I will go to. I think I will have to have the other 2 with me also. After that, kids to bed (hmmm when dinner?) and frantically try to get stuff organized for packing on Thursday. After camp on Thursday we are going to make a run to blockbuster and the library for trip stuff. We have a portable TV/DVD which we will have in the car and new DVDs are always a good thing. While packing Thursday night I am going to put Friday's clothes in the car so I can wake the kids up at 8!, bring them to the bathroom and into the car for breakfast in PJs.

Then the trick will be to keep the kids from driving us crazy and to stay awake for the drive...

Thanks to my MIL, here is another article about the weapons of mass destruction error page. Amazing that the page is 5 months old. If the page is not the highest ranking in the google search, you either have to click the pointer I gave you, or just do a regular search in google and look for the page. If enough of us bloggers link to it, that might help the page stay up in google's rankings.

My MIL also found another 'interesting' error page.

Anene's request is my command. Or something like that. Here are some pictures...about 20 I think. I hope it works.
