Yup, Rebekah needs glasses. Her eyes were 20/100 and 20/125. We went right away to the optician and ordered glasses. They will be ready in 5-7 business days. I was thinking of getting the light sensitive glasses like Matthew has, but that would make it 10-12 days and I didn't want to have her go through even more days of school without seeing very well.
I haven't gotten the print for the living room yet. In fact, I had forgotten it till I read my last entree! I will just be happy when that room is all painted, we are so slow at getting stuff like that done. The room now has 2.5 walls done. We didn't want to do the whole thing at once cause if we have to stop in the middle, everything is all over the place. This way, the blinds only have to be down when we are doing that side of the room, the couch and TV moved only when we are prepping/painting that side of the room. It will get done eventually.
I bought two VHS/Cd/DVD holders for that room. I was going to put them on the far side of the TV and the stereo. So, the two would be on opposite sides of the same wall. When I measured it out, I had about an inch to spare on the side with the TV. That was fair enough as the thing is only 16.5 inches wide. So, I put both of them together... what a pain. It took especially long as I kept on having children try to 'help'! When I scootched the TV one in, it looked like it wouldn't fit! It did finally fit, but I think there is less then 1/8" clearence! If I knew it would be that close, I probably wouldn't have dared do it and done something else. It looks pretty good though. I just have to get L bracket it to the wall and get some decorative stuff for the top to make everthing higher. It is needed now as I don't have 4 feet of video tapes piled on top of the TV entertainment thing. LOL
