Oh my goodness, I didn't write about the snow! I will tomorrow, gotta go!
Oh, by the way, the fact that I had to put email filters in with different versions of the word beastiality is kind of gross. Well, hopefully I wont see these emails again. Well, I never really saw them because I use a mail reader which doesn't read html, so mostly I saw the subject and html code. Ooohhh, exciting, NOT.
We had a good time in NY. Our trip home, on the other hand... UGH.

We had a wonderful drive through Long Island, and the belt through Queens/Brooklyn and even got over the bridges and Staten Island in good steed. I thought we were home free with an amazing Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend drive. UGH... then we hit NJ and everyone stopped. Oh well. I did get off the NJ Turnpike as early as I could, there were signs that the Turnpike was closed at exit 4, I don't really know if it was... but I am sure it was SLOW. We saved some time on 295, but then we had to rejoin the Turnpike and 95 people and it got slow again. Oh well, we got home eventually, in one piece, more or less.

Chanukah went really well. The only problem being that the kids got used to getting LOTS of gifts in NY over the beginning of Chanukah. They needed an attitute adjustment to the 'smaller' gifts given at home. Well, except for my Mom's gift. Get a load of THIS . It is 4 feet by 7 feet and in the basement. Not only will the kids get much enjoyment from this for the next 10-15 years, but so will Bill and I. :-) Marlene and Michael also bought a present for Alyssa which everyone who has visited (up to 9 years old :-) has played with. Her room is now filled.

We were once again, blessed with many generous gifts and the children are having a BALL. And, as usual, some of the cheaper gifts have been great successes. I got three pokemon tapes from the dollar store which I think might wear out. :-) Rebekah got a black belt Hamster which dances and sings a song. She loves it. :-) It is nice to see the kids enjoying all their gifts... They are also close enough in age that they share their stuff (and fight over them :-) We have a real family. Gotta love it!
