Even thought some of the shows are getting a little lame, the music to Trading Spaces still makes me smile. I might not watch the whole show anymore, but still like the end and still would never let Hildi near my house.

Lets say you didn't get much sleep one night and was outside, on a hot, soupy-humid day, for over 3 hours with two children's soccer practices and was REALLY tired at about 4:00pm. OK... This is what I suggest you NOT do. Do NOT lie down on the futton in the basement thinking you will take a little nap watching TV. Do NOT have your 4 year old wake you up but kind of sweetly lie on your back on cuddle. Do NOT fall back to sleep again and have the 4 yo yell CACADOODLE DOOOOOO at you, waking you up as a rooster does.. over and over again. Do NOT just about fall asleep again and have three children all of a sudden start yelling and complaining that they are starved.

Do NOT give up at 4:30 and make a huge (delicious) iced coffee out of some very strong left over coffee. Do NOT all of a sudden realize at 10:00 that you are wired and will be up very late waiting for the caffeine to wear off...

I don't know if anyone will answer a mini poll from me, but lets try. Which do you like?

1- Trading Spaces
2- While You Were Out
3- Surprise By Design
4- Ummm.... what the heck are these?

I know there are many more of these types of showed, but these are the only ones that I have ever watched... I did seem one on MTV once, but only managed to get 10 minute in. There is also one on some other channel with three people working, no surprise and a much lower budget. I only watched about 5 minutes of that one.

I hate it when I am going through my day and think of things I would like to blog then I sit down at the computer and can't think of anything to write!

My Mom is itching to see some of my pictures, so maybe I will work on uploading them this weekend. I am hoping that Bill and I can get the rest of the kitchen cabinet doors painted with the top color this weekend. I am getting very tired of looking at my dishes. :-) I don't know if you can paint outside when it is about 200% humidity. It really is gross out there. The kind of weather where you leave the air conditioned car and your glasses fog up when you go into the humidity. blech.

Rebekah had soccer practice today from 6-7:30 and Matthew has it tomorrow from 9-10ish and Rebekah again from 1:30 on. It will be nice when games start next week. Games are more fun then practices... But, it is nice to see both Matthew and Rebekah being more aggressive on the soccer field. Rebekah almost didn't move last year. Now, she seems to be moving and going towards the ball. Not usually getting it :-) but actually trying. Today in practice she actually stole the ball once... it is getting better. Matthew is VERY timid playing during drills and stuff but during the game he really tries to be in the middle of everything, cool huh?

So many things to do and sign up for in the Fall. I hope I am not over doing it for the kids, but I don't want to drop anthing...

I am back. duh... It was GREAT but I don't think I am going to write about everything we did. Much too overwhelming. The wedding and people were great and Sea World and Legoland were fantastic.

I know a couple of people are going to see there is a new blog entry and look for pictures... sorry, I haven't done anything yet. I have been too busy getting the family back on eastern time and ending up the summer. Matthew is back in school and Rebekah starts tomorrow. I think that is why I have just started typing a blog entry at 12:52... I can't sleep before the kids start school... weird or what?

Alyssa's birthday is tomorrow and her party is not till Sept. 14 so I have to make a bigger deal of the actual birthday then I usually do. There are three milar balloons waiting in her room for her to wake up (from Nana) and a couple of presents for her for around dinner time. I told Alyssa she could have any dinner she wanted for her birthday. I kept on mentioning different restuarants that she likes. She didn't seem interested. When I finally asked if she wanted to eat at home she said yes. WTF??? I asked if she wanted salmon fish (something I happen to have and often make and they like) and she said yes. She also wants pasta. Basically, it is a regular family dinner with a food I often make... weird huh? Matthew, whose birthday if Friday, wants to go to Burger King for his birthday. BLECH. What gourmet eaters I have, huh? Matthew DEFINETLY did not want to go to a restaurant where they *gasp* sing happy birthday to you.

Natalie, are you reading? I was at the mall buying candles and noticed the new calender kiosk. It is that time of year again. Anyway.... I noticed they had Wiggles calendars.... thought someone might like one. :-)
