Sometimes a good deal puts me in a good mood. Rebekah is going to take a class which is in a gymnastics ummm... place and wanted a pair of leotards. When I was at Target today, I noticed that (assuming you have to buy leotards one size up..) they didn't have any leotards in her size, but had them in her regular size. I went to buy them, they were labeled at $12.99... not too much, right? Well, they rang up at $3.46... how fun! Rebekah can wear them, but they are a bit snug... what the heck... for 3.46 she can keep it and wear it if I can't find anything else. If I can find something else, it can just be dress up at home...

So, does anyone know where you can get cheap leotards in larger sizes or in small adult sizes? I guess I will check Walmart (YUCK) and different Targets... These stores are like bugs... they are all over the place. It is a short drive to the next store. Kind of like Home Depots... The bunny rabbits of stores, they keep propagating. :-)

OH, costumes, I forgot about costumes.

Rebekah will be Star Dragon Ninja , Matthew will be Marill , a pokemon, and right now, Alyssa is going to be Clifford, the Big Red Dog - a costume she had last year. Now, before anyone feels bad for Alyssa, she thinks she is the luckiest one! She said she wanted to be Clifford and I said OK. Then, I told her she is the luckiest in the house, if she changes her mind, there are lots of choices in the house for her size! Princesses, astronaut, police, flapper girl, glamourous girl... lots of dress up available! She bought it, and it is free. :-)

My brother wants to know what the kids are doing for Halloween this year. Luckly ;-), none of the kids have to be dressed in school this year. Rebekah and Alyssa are in Jewish schools which don't celebrate Halloween. They will have to be dressed up for Purim... oh well. Matthew's school? I don't know... they just don't do the dress up/parade thing. They will have a sort of party, but no costume. Rebekah is going out with a friend for trick or treating then sleeping over there that night for a party!!!!!!

When I was a kid, I used to play solitaire... with real cards, not on the computer, imagine that! Anyway, I was a kid, and I cheated. The cheat I often did was if I couldn't find any move to make, and I ran across a card that could go _under_ the stack instead of on top.. I used to shove it under there and keep on going. Well, I am playing solitaire on the computer now, and I find I want to just shove a card under a pile... but the *&*^ computer wont let me!!! LOL

Blech.

Not to brag or anything, but I think I cooked a pretty good dinner tonight. I didn't have long to do it, but it came out pretty good. Pepper steak, and onions, green peppers and sugar snap peas are the parts I am talking about here. I kind of stir fried them with a bit of soy sauce. It tasted very good, and smelled good and everything. But, now, 6 hours after dinner, I came up for the basement and the kitchen stinks. It smells like... oh, I don't know... fried food and soy sauce, but not in a good way. Blech... It reminds me of the 1 time I make potatoe pancakes in December. Everyone loves them, but I hate how the house smells afterwards. It seems like that smell stays for days, I hope this one doesn't!!!!!!!

Yup, Saturday ended up very busy, but it was good busy. 2 trips to fabric store (1 waiting for 45 minutes for seemstress :-( and 1 with Matthew), 2 birthday parties (Rebekah and Alyssa), 2 soccer games (Rebekah and Matthew) and two haircuts (me and Matthew). Thank goodness for an extra hour last night. :-)

Today was just a little bit busy, but busy in a good family way too. Hebrew school for Matthew. A good old fashion migraine for me :-(, A trip to BK for lunch with a horrible drive through lady who I came pretty close to getting fired, she was sooo bad and rude. A trip to Rebekah's soccer field to pick up a forgotten jacket and water bottle (can't believe it was still there!). A trip to a pumpkin farm. We had a ball, got unlimited tickets for the kids for the maze and train thing., fed the goats, took a hay ride to the 'pumpkin patch'. So funny, my kids are going to think that pumpkins grow in a field, just lieing there, not connected to anything. I told the hay ride driver and they pointed me to a tiny corner where there were still some pumpkins connected to vines. The kids loved running around, looking for pumpkins that were still connected... OK. Oh, yeah, we also bought pumpkin pie, apples, cookies, candy apples... ummm... and stuff.

Then, we went to Barnes and Nobles and bought a bunch of books. Our synogogue is having a fund raiser where part of the congregant's purchases at Barnes and Nobles go to the synogogue. The kids had fun buying the books. My Mom also bought a box of phonics books which are perfect for Matthew. He read one of them to me as his night time book!!! He was so excited!

Good day had by all.
