When I was putting Rebekah to bed tonight, she wanted me to get her a book that she left on the counter downstairs. I told her I would give her the book before I went to bed.

About a half hour later (after Daddy cuddle time) she came out and demanded the book. After much fuss she went to bed. How come I think I need to check her when she is supposed to be sleeping and make sure she is not reading by the night light??? :-) Her glasses presciption would change for sure!

We had a nice night yesterday. In the morning, Mom and Dad went down to DC to spend the day with the birthday boy, my brother. They went to his synogogue for services (my parents have never seen it) and then went museuming in DC. I think they went to a new spy museum??????? With the kids getting older, I really am going to have to take advantage of all the DC museums when it gets warmer. Anyway, they came home and we brought food in for a nice family dinner where the kids could leave when they were done. :-) The only problem was when the kids were done, they wanted Michael to open his presents NOW, not when the adults (jeez, I am an adult?) were done. Nana did a good job of allowing them to bring the presents into the living room and getting them all ready for us. :-)

Today was OK, though we were so busy we forgot to bring Rebekah to Hebrew school till it was almost done! Ugh... first and hopefully last time for that. Michael and I went shopping. He was looking for an MP3 player and I was looking at operating systems (yuck) and modems (boring). We didn't buy anything as he needs to do some research and I am considering ebaying for the stuff. Does anyone have suggestions on MP3 players?

Dad and Michael went home and only Mom is here now. My van is having troubles with the door and I am going to try to bring it in tomorrow. It is such a luxury to have Mom here with her car and the freedom of having 3 cars at the house. I can get my car fixed and still be able to shlep everyone around!

Later...
