forget my question about reading my mail. I played with outlook enough to get my mail. My mom uses AOL for mail, so I should be all set. 1068 messages download pretty darn quickly over a cable modem!

But... I forgot to say something...

GO TERPS!!!!!

BTW: Does anyone know of a good way to read my mail when I am here? I once used a web site where I gave them my account address and password and they gave me my mail. I don't remember what the web site was, but I am sure I could find something similar from google... but... how do you know they are legitamite and will not use my account somehow?

Please answer in a comment, I can't get to my email. LOL
Nothing like being at Mom's. I had a three hour nap today and I was still tired at 11:30 tonight... I need to go to sleep.

There have been a couple of cute stories. Normally, Matthew and Alyssa sleep on Marlene and my old beds, and Rebekah sleeps on an air mattress on the floor. Rebekah has been complaining that she hates the air mattress (she probably just wants her bedroom). Anyway, today I put Matthew on the air mattress and Alyssa on one bed. Rebekah and I were reading before she went to bed. When I went to bring Rebekah back to bed, Matthew was on the bed and all of Rebekah's stuffed animals were thrown down on the air mattress. LOL I guess you have to understand that my kids do not get out of bed. I had to beg both Matthew and Rebekah that they could leave their beds in the morning and go find Mommy when they were awake. Both of them were in beds for over a year before they would leave in the morning. Alyssa still stays in bed in the morning and, I don't know, counts her toes till I get her. Genetics???

Lets see... On Thurs. we had guests... Aunt, Uncle, cousin, cousin once removed, and 4 second cousins over. That was on top of the 9 people who have been staying here. Even if you do all leftovers on paper plates and stuff, feeding so many people over and over again is a lot of work. Especially when it is a holiday and you can't order out for pizza! Mom does sooo much. Note to self... next year I bring food with me. It is amazing how much Mom cooks. Enough to feed us and she sends home food with umm... 4 different house holds! The Kosher butcher in the supermarket knows her by first name. :-)

One cousin was Matthew's age and one Alyssa's age. They really go along wonderfully and we went to a playground during a lovely spring day. Life is good... The day before we played with Marlene's friend and her kids before the sedar. Those kids were actually amazing HOURS together and I don't think we had to break up even one disagreement. If all playdates were like that, the parents could leave the kids and go out for coffee. :-)

The next day (Sat.) we went to the city to go to my cousin's synogogue and to see them. This synogogue has an amazing children's service that my family went to. Rebekah just jumped right in and participated right way. Alyssa didn't leave my lap and Matthew didn't leave my side. :-) After that part of the service (with music, story telling and dance) they split up for 0-3yo in one room, 4-5 in another and 6-7 in the third. What was I to do, split myself up in 3? Rebekah just needed me to introduce her, Matthew stayed with Marlene and I went to the baby one. My kids do soooo much better when I am not there! We spent a couple of hours at 1 cousin's apartment. Matthew was in heaven! They had about 200 play animals in a bookcase... all perfectly arranged! Matthew took them all down to play with. LOL He was in heaven. I put them back at the end (along with 7 puzzles I put together LOL) but I am sure the family will have to re-arrange them... oh well. At least everyone had fun, that is the important part.

Then we went to the park and played. It was a nice park and they all had fun. What made the day perfect was the traffic, or lack there of. We went into the city at 9:00 on Sat. I think we made it in and cross town in well under an hour. Not a stitch of traffic, even going over the bridge and cross town. Going home we just had a tiny bit of traffic... such a relief.

The only thing bringing down the week is international war and Israel. It is very frustrating to see what gets in the media. So much isn't being told. I am beginning to lose hope... I guess we are living in interesting times. Mom talked to family friends who live in Israel today. They are getting on, but life changes. Things will not be the same... Per capita they have lost soo many. :-( It is amazing how many bombers have been stopped, but you can't stop everyone. A palastinian red cross ambulance was booby trapped to bomb Israel :-( , they bombed an Israeli paramedical building... shouldn't some things be off limits?

Oh well, hopefully the Bubble Museum will distract me tomorrow. Could be fun! Rebekah is really looking forward to it.
