We (I) slept too late to go to the story time at the library today... oh well. I am NOT going to go to the library again just for fun. We went yesterday and I was lucky to make it out without doing anything damaging to my children. AAAUUUUURRRRGGGGHHHHHH Actually, Rebekah is finally old enough to be really fun and good and the library. She finds books, she reads... what a concept. Not yelling, no running, no grabbing books off the shelf. LOL

We are going to my MIL's tomorrow, so today I am going to get Matthew's hair cut. The lady we usually go to has stopped cutting hair (how dare she!). The other woman who specializes in children is booked, so today Matthew will go to the person who cuts my hair. She will still have access to the toys and videos, so hopefully it will be OK. The ride tomorrow will be at least 7 hours. I got some books on tape from the library and some new music tapes. Hopefully it will be OK. Maybe I should buy some little surprise toys for the kids... can't say for sure because Rebekah is reading this and it should be a secret. :-)

Time to go buy some fruit to have for today and for the trip.

A while ago I meant to post a pointer for a site to make a lego man which looks like you ... or someone anyway. It really is cute.

What a gorgeous day! Wonderful weather! Tomorrow is even going to be cooler. The air conditioning is off and we will sleep with open windows tonight. AAAaaaaahhhhh.

I went to the closest optometrist that is on our insurance for Matthew's new glasses. I found a pair that was OK, but in the wrong color (silver/chrome). They are going to order the right color in two different sizes that we can try on on Thursday and see if we want to order. They even volunteered to call me when the frames come in. Aaaahhhhhhh, service. The glasses will take a while as they have to send away for the transition lenses, but he should get it before school. Matthew was pretty disappointed that we weren't bringing home glasses today! :-) I hope he will wear them, he wasn't real comfortable with the frames on his face today. Hopefully when they help him see he will be better about leaving them on. Alyssa, on the other hand, kept her scubby doo (sp?) sunglasses on for hours before she threw them down the slide ahead of her. :-)

Rebekah is playing her game boy a lot. She seems to like it. Matthew keeps on giving me the game boy and telling me to play it. He likes to watch. :-)

Time to heat up salmon and cook ABC noodles.
Well, I just cancelled the order for Matthew's glasses. I better get them before school!
