I bought honey nut cherrios for Alyssa today. Poor baby (yeah, right) hasn't had them for a while now. First I treated the kids with frosted flakes then Bill brought Rebekah and Matthew out shopping and told them they could get any cereal they wanted. They both picked marshmallow cereals that I don't let them buy cause it drives me crazy to see Alyssa pick through, eat the marshmallows and leave the cereal. :-P

Anyway, I showed Alyssa the honey nut cherrios. That girl jumped up and down, turned in circles and then ran over and kissed the bee on the box of honey nut cherrios. LOL guess I wont run out again!

I had decided to have a seamstress make curtains that I want in the kitchen. They are very simple, but I want them lined, and I want them straight, so I am hiring it out. :-) Anyway the fabric place near me is having a huge sale this weekend so I am going to get them made now. About time anyway cause we are starting to need insulation on this big drafty sliding glass window right near the kitchen table! The sale at the store is so weird. From 8-noon tomorrow I can get 50% off the fabric I want. From 12-9pm, with coupon, I can get 50%off the lining we are going to use. Just what I want to do tomorrow, 2 trips to the fabric store, when I also have 2 soccer games, 2 birthday parties, and 2 hair cuts, but I will...

I so hope it looks good, I have never had something like this made for me before. I looked at a curtain store type place, but they were quoting $800-$1000 for simple curtains in a fabric I liked... I don't think so. If it was that much, I would spend the $120 at Country (not really) Curtains for the stock ones that were sort of OK. This seamstress will be in the middle somewhere... $150 + fabric and lining...
